It's Bringing music back to the grassroots

November gigs

After this weekends gig with a 10 piece male voice chorus joining us on Boating Lake, and Yasmin adding her vocals to Yellow Moon and King Roger, here's a reminder of Novembers gigs starting with a small memory jog for Saturday October 31st and a return to Chalfont St Giles Memorial Hall in Buckinghamshire where we'll be playing alongside some of our good musical buddies including Clive Product, The Unfortunate Bongo 5, The Kings of the Wild Front Ear and Occasionally David.
It all kicks off at 7.45 and costs a mere £3 on the door.
What's more we're overwhelmingly pleased and excited to announce that The Occasional Orchestra will be joined on this occasion by Robert Coyne son of Kevin Coyne who will play guitar on Lonesome Valley just like he used to do with his late Father, truly an honour.

November 1st sees our first but long awaited gig in Oxford for the 15 Minute Club at The Living Room: The Study, 1 Oxford Castle, Oxford, OX1 1AY

We then take a bit of break but return November 20th with a special gig and a brass section no less at The Portcullis Club, Wallingford for a Bunkfest Volunteers Thank You Party.
Tickets are £5, including food, and if you would like one then just reply to this e-mail for details.
Also appearing on the night will be Ugly Dog Poetry, A Band of Hope, Dalton Smith & Brown and Hana Bushnell and the Hat Band.

November 26th see a return to Coxs Yard, Stratford on Avon with a slightly pared down but no less exciting Occasional Orchestra before we play:

Reading After Dark Club on November 28th along with our good friends Pressgang who will be launching their new CD on the night.
