It's Bringing music back to the grassroots

Hi folks. My latest offering WOOD & GOLD is on the BLUE reverbnation player which will be used for my next batch of new songs.

WOOD & GOLD has evolved into a song without a hook or chorus, it's about appreciating the simpler things in life.

I love the Smiths! I'm a 40 something guy who fell in love with the Smiths music from '83 onwards & still collect everything by Morrissey. Must be in my subconscious somewhere.. Thanks very much for listening, I appreciate it.

Nice one. I like the lack of anything obviously chorus like.

You should give Johnny Marr a call to put some little guitar hooks and what not on it.

Sorry I don't have his number.

Actually why did I immediately think of Johnny Marr? I think it's something about the structure of the song, the lack of a chorus and so on. Some early Smiths songs were a bit like this. Plenty of hooks but no chorus as such.
