It's Bringing music back to the grassroots

Yes it's that time of the week again, and The Masher News Blog is up and can be found in all the usual places - e.g. the RSS corner of our profile on our Ning Pages - by clicking HERE to go to the Mashers Main site or HERE for Reverbantion site under the Blog Tag or at our main Myspace page HERE.

Yes - we are what they call viral when it comes to our Online connections.

Putting the negative stuff about Rotherham Rocks to one side the main story this week is the publication of some songs and poems by Rotherham's Mr Memory Man, Roy Blackman. The Shed Recordings have been added to the Acoustic Rotherham site and you can get to them without reading all The Masher stuff by going HERE

Just a remindere to one and all. If you've got a Gig or any sort of event coming up please drop an Email to acousticrotherham@jmucreate.com and let us know - particularly if it's in the Sheffield / Barnsley / Rotherham area - we'll be sure to give it a mention + if you've got fliers etc. send us a copy.

Besides heading for Wirksworth on the 13th September for the Street Music Festival, The Mashers next main outing is in support to that well known Folk Tribute Band - The Bon Jovi Experience - at the Vault, Rotherham at the end of the month - Saturday 26th September. Your chance to confirm everything you've been afraid to say about The Mashers.

In the meantime enjoy the week my friends.
