Hi All
Well the technology is again messing around so this will be as short as I can make it.
Masher Caps off to Rob Slow (the living legend behind Nelly folk) who brought all the Folk Clubs in Rotherham together for a second year to show case their wares as part of The Rotherham Open Arts Festival. There's a set of Pictures
HERE and if you are one of those who in the past has found it problematic to load the page in the past, you will be pleased to hear that I've been learning a few new tricks and it should load as fast as your line will allow now and without chewing all your virtual memory.
You can also find everything the Mashers were not doing last year in the News Blog which was published on Sunday last, which you can get to by going
HERE
The Mashers did their bit representing the Club that has not met - yet - Flat Cap Folk. We're underway as from next Thursday at The Transport Club, Union Street, Rotherham - and if the cheap beer and drinks is not enough to drag you in, then you will be further blessed by the fantastic sounds of Brother Crow and Rotherham's very own Toein' In The Dark. Floor spots available on a first come first served basis and it all get's underway with The Mashers Hosting at 8:30pm . Full details
HERE
In fact you can check up with everything that is going on in the area by going
HERE
And to conclude - a word for our Myke, who's rock arm "Earthtales" will be putting on a rare show at Nellie Deane's on Saturday the 17th October. If you've not seen this band yet then get down to Nellie's, you're in for a treat.
So hope to see you about - and thanks for your continued support.
Richard
