It's Bringing music back to the grassroots

Hi All

Last call for the opening night of The Flat Cap Folk Club. Yes it's undway tomorrow, Thursday 15th at The Transport Club, Union Street, Rotherham withour special guests Brother Crow and Toein' In The Dark.

Having checked the Concert Room out, we're going to try and run this first one acoustically as we believe this will help bring out the best from the music.

The whole evening is going to be experiemntal so come along and join us. A limited number of Floor Spots will be available, with The Mashers doing the hosting.

Full details HERE

And Acoustic Rotherham 5 is not far away. Full details of this Quarters Acts - it's our FIRST BIRTHDAY - can be found on the Acoustic Rotherham Web Site HERE

The next main Mashers outing comes on Tuesday 20th October when you'll find us once again amongst the writers and poets of the Crystal Peaks writers at The Handsworth Folk Club, The Cross Keys, Handsworth Road, Handsworth. This is one of our favourite Gigs, hosted by Roy Blackman and this month it includes a Literary Festival. From around 7:30pm.

The Web Site is going under a general improvement programme. To pretty it up and speed up page loading. You'll find that the Folk Club and Open Mic Page now loads a lot faster - HERE

You can get a feel for what the site will eventually feel like by going to The Mashers Home Page HERE

Let me know if the new Banners and buttons etc work for you.

And of course the News Blog has been up since Sunday, yes I got it done on time for a change!! You can get to it by going to all the usual places and of course our main News Page HERE

And of course all the local listings we know about can be found HERE along with the local Chit Chat and News.

Many thanks for your continued support and we hope to bump into you at Fat Cap Fok on Thursday.
