and explain why I stuck so many songs on here.
Since the mid-60's I've been waiting for recording technology to develop to where I could do it in my home, to which end I started writing songs and gathering instruments so's to be ready when it did.
In 2K7 my friend Maria Mango took off on her obligatory neo-folkie Woody Guthrie rambling period & stashed her mighty Korg 32 track digital studio here for me to play with, so I launched into a marathon of recording, desparately trying to suss out how the thing worked - I am familiar now with mebbe six of its myriad buttons.
Nonethemoreorless I got about 85% of my tunes safely stashed in my external hard drive & Maria is tripping in LA so there's a good chance I'll get the lot finished since Summer is i'going out & she ain't likely to return to enjoy one of our Winters.
When I learned I could post 100 tunes my immediate idea was to select a few but I found that I couldn't so I didn't.
These songs are from eventual albums, the covers of which are displayed herein. The photos of me on them are from the age-period when the songs were writ.
The instruments used in the recordings are in the photo-album for those who may wonder where all the wierd sounds come from...
