In addition to playing imaginative new versions of old blues, folk and jazz songs we write our own material. Regularly performing in cafes and clubs in Central and South Scotland but getting well known through Festival work....book us now!!

Acoustic, electric, guitars bass and mandolin...we can give you a full range from quiet introspective right up to flat out Howlin Wolf....

Partick Folk Club

Played Partick Folk Club in St Peters Hall, Chancellor Street, Glasgow on friday night.

By far the best gig of our busy year....mainly because of the audience...I play folk clubs so seldom these days, that I forget the pleasure of an audience that wants to be entertained and actually listens. You really know if youre playing well...not just the hit and miss of barroom gigs...

Thanks to Mick West and his committee for all the work they put in each month...

Wizz and John...in Moniaive

Fantastic night in Moniaive last saturday...Wing and a Prayer supported Wizz Jones at the Craigdarroch Hotel...and brought along a friend to join in - John Renbourn. He played several superb tunes and songs...and then sat up with us till 4.30 am telling stories while Jim and I jammed...

Wizz of course was wonderful too...

Great to see two performers still full of energy and enthusiasm for the music...who made Jim and I seem like young lads!

Just back from the Moniaive Guitar Festival...fantastic!!

Wizz Jones and Steve Hicks headlining.....

Wizz Jones still in superb voice and fantastic guitarist at 70 years old...and still jamming in the pub at 4am...

Watch out for this event next year...its down in deepest Dumfries and Galloway in a quiet village full of people who love live music...no big Festival egos ...or prices...
