HAVE A RUMMAGE THROUGH SOME OF MY SONGS

STU. Quantcast

NEW SONGS ON THE BLUE PLAYER ABOVE, My 1st ALBUM ON THE RED PLAYER BELOW.

Hi, I'm Stu. I do all this stuff myself at home on an 8 track recorder which I then put onto my Mac & engineer it all with Garage Band 3. I was a drummer for most of my musical career but quit bands when I was about 25 but I started playing again in my late 30's for a while. At the age of 36 I started writing & playing an acoustic guitar. I've now got a few guitars including a bass, a keyboard & a drum kit in my little studio.
I haven't really got a clue about playing these instruments, writing songs or singing but I really enjoy having a go.

I have now started to play live & did my first appearance on 31/3/09 at Cafe Rio in Glasgow. I'm now working on increasing my confidence as a live performer & my live set.

The red Reverbnation player above contains my first album called ALWAYS THERE. Everything on this album is done by myself & if you would like a copy please get in touch. You can also find me on www.myspace.com/stoobydoo

Cheers.

NEW SONG - THIS DRINK.

Hi folks. i've just uploaded my new song for July, it's called THIS DRINK.

Obviously it's about drinking & how some people can only say what's really on their mind when they've had strong drink. It could also be about the effect drink has on others who say things they don't mean when they're drunk. It's on the blue NEW SONG'S player above.

Hope you like it.

New Song - WOOD & GOLD.

Hi folks. My latest offering WOOD & GOLD is on the BLUE reverbnation player which will be used for my next batch of new songs.

WOOD & GOLD has evolved into a song without a hook or chorus, it's about appreciating the simpler things in life.

Liked "Mild Peril", but "Wood & Gold" is the strongest song.

Yeah, right. Sure sounds okay to me. One line I caught that I really relate to : "I'm more impressed by wood than gold." Great line.
