The Lake District in 'Summer'

Well the last couple of days have not been very summery! It's been wet and rather cool at times.
Anyone know Keswick? For those who don't, it has a silent w!
If you do, you'll most likely know Grange too.

Well we decided to drive along to Grange and walk around the Lake from there. It's quite a walk just to get to the Lake from Grange. But it had stopped raining and stayed dry for an hour or two. We'd been fortified by a good, cooked breakfast, something we never normally bother with. At Nichol… Continue

cheers good buddy check out www.sprattonfestival.com thanks for the good wishes - gig went very well apart from someone completely forgetting how the Xmas song went! That aprt though it was a top night out and lots of fun with a lot of plans emerging from it. Theres more of our stuff at MySpace and YouTube and we're recording again in January - yes we're down south but are hoping to get past Northamptonshire next summer!
Thanks again

Hi Pete, thanks for adding me as a friend! Hey I love your song, so you should definitely put more on here. In fact, I was on LOOM tonight (Friday) with a few AFC people (like Anita), and your song accidentally started playing when I went onto your page, so we all listened to it.. I hope you don't mind! Anyway, it was very well received, so looking forward to hearing some more, and maybe we'll see you on LOOM sometime too?

Hi Pete, NO this is not my dad singing me a lullaby....hahaha....for sure it is Guitar Mal!!! We were on our Sunday LOOM and as it was as good as it is ALWAYS, I just couldn't say good night and go to my bed as I should have done:-( You know, I'm always ahead at least one hour of the other participants as I live in Germany:-( And I always have to get up early on Monday mornings as I have to go to work....so Mally improvised this lovely song for me! And I just love it! I hope he does not read your comment.....hahaha.....thinking he was my father....lol
Yeah, I listened to your song "Waiting" on your page and I like it and think it IS worth adding more! Also I've to admit that I don't have the time to listen and have a close look at all the new members, but I do, if I get personally involved....like you wrote on my wall here!

I'm glad to hear, that there are no sever computer problems at your end. This is always a pain in the ass....lol

And I don't go climbing this weekend...and I've not heard about Grag Lough so far....

Have a nice weekend too! And I apologize for mistakes in my mail, I'm not a native speaker;-)

Point other, we never really know whether we're folk or not and having discussed the topic with friends that can go on and on and on about it to the point where we'd, frankly, rather not know but if a Rickenbacker and a bass player who likes New Order is folk then we're definately folk.
Spratton is near Northampton and is THE place to be whichever weekend it is that year. Heck it poured with rain this "summer" yet still we had a great time, wives, girlfriends, kids the lot. In fact if you can get to Spratton tomorrow we'll be at The Kings Head from 8pm and we've even got a special Xmas song to play PLUS our pal Lucas from Czech Republic will be playing a few songs too.
Now the commercvial bit - you can download both tracks at i-tunes and theres also 2 videos at www.youtube.com/japeeza with 2 more hopefully being posted in a day or two including one with our new brass section (is that folk?) Glad you like what you hear - keep em peeled, we're 3 1/2 tracks into the new album. Thanks for the kind words.Delete Comment

Ha ha. I was in the Bon Accord from about 8ish. Playing with one of the coxers bands I'm in. It does get a wee bit tight when it's busy. The bands set up in the alcove near the back of the pub. Wasn't the best gig as 3 of us were ill. How are you doing? All ready for xmas? Take care.
