How I came to this juncture!

I, as a child, began my life with the realisation that to become good at music detracts from the shortfallings of my personality. Which, when you get to know me, are many.

However, to start from the start, I've always been around music and always loved music. My Mum and Dad were in a Band that toured my area (Inverclyde. 25 miles west of Glasgoow) and everyone knows them. They have since divorced, Thankfully, the union of my mother and father has borne three children. My elder brother Niven, my Elder sister Gaynor and yours truly.

Onto music.

I think I'll just state it chronologically.

learned how to play guitar.
wanted to play my own tunes
have done since I was 13
I am now 33
Played in various bands - TV lounge(Co songwriter with my brother. I was the tunesmith he was the lyrics/show man), baked potatoes(This band was started by me and Marky:the boy of destiny),Brother John( Me and Marky:the boy of destiny), Blowhorn. None of which made any impact of any scale. But that does not matter to me. All I want is to have people enjoy my tunes. By that, I mean, listen to them twice. If one person puts my tunes on twice then I know they liked the music and that will therefore vindicate the hours I spent developing the melodies, rythm and tempo,

I am not a recording artist at all though. One of my great loves is playing the accoustic guitar to an empty room with a tummy full of beer.

I love playing the guitar and I love making new songs.

I now have the equipment to record, so be prepared. The full force of my brain shall soon be unleashed.

It will probably end up with nothing more than rude words and exclamations.

Hi Nairn thats informative ..
blog posting is done from quick add ..
click on blog posts and away you go .

As Martin Stephenson so eloquently puts it ..
the problem with music is the 'sharp elbows brigade'
and the "industry" , both of whom detract from the simple
pleasure of making music ..in the hope that other people
( deserving or not ) enjoy the fruits of your efforts ,
take on board your idea's and are maybe educated
in other ways of thinking .. other than theirs ?!

I don't create music for a set purpose .. it's just a form of expression
and a release from the tedium of industry product like the Pussycat Dolls et al .... so keep the faith and feck-em .. if they aint got the intellect to move outside of the instant gratification society , wannabe famous feckwits .. who you can see staggering around a town centre near you every saturday night .. dressed like a twat in the latest primark outfit ( made by child labour in India ) but who gives a toss .. cos I'm a princess / pop star / spoiled twat !
