"Ha fuckin ha .... So Australian fauna in unexpected situations is amusing is it? Okay well for the next "unexpected and slightly humourous situation", how about an Echidna stuck up your fuckin arse. Oh and to save you the trouble of a google image…

Hmmm. Fun idea for a challange. I'm not sure if I will have my stuff set up in time to record anything. My choice is between UK and US - The Beatles - I feel fine Australia - Billy Thorpe and The Aztecs - Somewhere over the rainbow It is gonna hav…

Yep absolutely. Recording yourself and constantly listening back never stops being an eye/ear opener. You are forced to analyse and listen slightly more objectively. I think you learn a lot about what is really necessary when recording and focus mor…

The 40 odd songs on here are from various points over the last 16 or more years. Some of the newer stuff tends to be at the top of the player. The last four songs are not mine but I do play on them (please visit zarbo.co.uk for the creator of these songs)

I've just moved to Adelaide, South Australia.

In the last week or so (early Dec 09) I have started working on new material and a new project. I'm pretty excited about it and the plan is to release it as part of a complete project/album. I'm going to make a point of keeping hold of everything until I'm ready to let go of it. I anticipate it will be finished about this time next year.

Old songs

I’ve just been going through a few old cd’s of my songs. A few things I found were either quite good or quite funny or both. That’s the weird thing coming back to old songs you’ve pretty much forgotten – you can be a little more objective. All the songs are just me, a 16 track and a selection of instruments. I've just posted them on my player.

The girl will decide

I always liked this song but nobody else did (at least not in my band at the time). As a result it was consigned to the bin. I'm no… Continue

Myspace

Sorry in advance for the very dull blog. I'm sure this is of no interest to anyone but I know how touchy people get about this sort of thing so thought I'd better explain. .....

I'm just about to delete my myspace profile (yes again!). This time it's purely a bit of pre-move spring cleaning. I set it up as an Australian networking profile. It didn't work. I therefore don't really see a lot of point in hanging on to it given that I'm in touch with everyone either here or on Faecesbook. I guess I… Continue

Musings on online communities - It's not social networking, it's farming

I occasionally try to write a straight opinion piece. This is purely for my own entertainment but I thought I'd post this here as the AFC get a thumbs up .....

"Musings on online communities - It’s not social networking, it’s farming.

Online communities are the future. Everywhere you look there are online communities springing up like mushrooms. They provide a forum for people to interact, trade, fall in love, fall out of love, build friendships, even die. In our increasingly privatised yet m… Continue

Bound for South Australia

As a few people will know, I have been planning to move back to Australia for some time. I'll finally be going on the 7th September... Here's a song for the occasion. Performed by Aussie legends The Wiggles.

Grace Jones and my Dad

I saw today that there is a music festival being held at Devil's Dyke on the South Downs (this is just north of Brighton on the south coast of England for those who need a geographical reference). I know the area quite well and Devil's Dyke is the perfect place for an outdoor festival. Headlining the festival is Grace Jones - a woman once described/dismissed by my father when he saw her being interviewed on British TV as, "silly bitch". He was generally a very tolerant quietly spoken gentle man… Continue

Btw good sir. After having the opportunity for a good chat with the members of Invocal on sat past, it seems you may have a few more audience members for your set at Spratton as at least one commented "Yeah, the Voltaires were great"

I'm not sure if I like Jo's thoughts on my crossdressing. I've only ever worn a dress twice!...no, 3...er, 5 times in my life.

This kind of slander I consider flamebaiting and will be reporting you both to the appropriate authorities for being transvestite nazis

hehehe

I'm confused as well. I still have this tux that needs an explanation. Lew cross-dresses on a regular basis (so I'm told) so he's undoubtedly been a bridesmaid numerous times. Do I still have to give back the dog?
