Coming To A House Near You Soon!!!

CoConi is leading the way to a whole new revolutionary approach of connecting with her audience in the form of house concerts. CoConi explains “I want to get to know my fans personally, so what better way than going to their houses and performing in front of a small intimate audience?” CoConi finds herself in strong demand since announcing her plans to play house concerts on her myspace. The emails keep flooding in from fans inviting her to perform at their homes, and her tour schedule is looking pretty demanding over the coming months.

US based singer CoConi has catapulted into the UK with her catchy, highly addictive debut single ‘‘Get Your Light Up’’ out on April 27th and taken from her album entitled ‘‘Venusian Butterfly’’ released on CoConi Music. ‘‘Get Your Light Up’’ has already achieved critical acclaim from musical accolades such as Dermot O’Leary at BBC Radio 2 and Gary Crowley at BBC London, as well as reaching number one on the global “Pod Music Countdown”, a highly influential music podcast reaching audiences of over 200,000 worldwide.

“Venusian Butterfly” is a collection of twelve original compositions which depicts messages of optimism and a desire for a brighter future. Buoyant tracks such as ‘‘Say It Again’’ and ‘‘Dynamite’’ contrast with darker songs of past love losses and heartache including “Taking The Blame” and ‘‘Sarah’’.

Having been compared musically to the highly energetic energy of No Doubt meets the rockier Evanescence with a pinch of Bjork in the vocals, it is no wonder CoConi has captured large audiences whilst performing alongside the likes of Natasha Bedingfield, PM Dawn and the legendary James Taylor Quartet, wowing audiences to her highly seductive tunes bursting with power.

CoConi puts her ability to pen a catchy hook down to growing up listening to the crème de la crème of musical lyricists such as Alanis Morissette, Madonna and Sheryl Crow. Having filled most of her teenage days writing and perfecting songs inspired by those musical inspirations, it is no wonder CoConi won her first talent competition at fifteen. This bought her time in a recording studio, kick starting her career and allowing her to professionally record her song “Be On The Train”, which proved to be so popular at the performing arts college she attended that the college funded the making of her video to go alongside the track.

“Venusian Butterfly” is set for major success in the UK with the single “Get Your Light Up” having already reached the top twenty among the most played singles in the whole of the podcast world last year.

Hi Coconi!

I got a call from your agent the other day by chance - she never sent the email she promised to! Sack her! ;-) hehehe

Send me any details you got and I'll do all I can to get you involved with the Spratton Folk Festival. Just listening now and you've got a hell of a voice!
