Happy Birthday Lew and thanks for letting me be a part of it all. And I look forward to being a part of the future as well as the past. Big Untidy recognises a kindred spirit when it sees one.

what a fantabulous time the Occasional Orchestra had with Lew and the Fringe Stage - we're just blown away by the level of care and attention that went into making the weekend such a success.

how did you find the afc network?

Percussionist and sort of manager type organiser on behalf of The Darrell Mitchell Occasional Orchestra, we've just expanded to a 6 piece and will be releasing an album any week now.
I also run the web site www.biguntidy.com which I think kinda fits the ehtic going on here?
Additionally I'm also known to 'play around' a bit percussively but its alright Big D knows about it.

Brackley Bike Fest

who knew motorbikers didnt like acoustic music? or at least that the desire to see the stunt rider fall off again was greater than the desire to come join us at The Greyhound but still we had a good time and I guess it was a bit of a stretch to imagine that idle curiosity would sustain someone over 7 hours of acoustic rambling although Andy managed it!!
The drunken girlie birthday party interruption was a little light relief anyway even if we didnt know any Spice Girls songs to play for them.

This Sunday August 23rd at The Greyhound in Brackley Northampton from about 4 pm onwards you can groove to the sounds of Acoustic Journey, our good pal Broon, Nick Lines (although he's a bit poorly at the moment and might have to duck out) the very wonderful A Band of Hope, the equally wonderful Carlecko, the totally splendid Hana Bushnell, somewhat incredibly we'll be joined by our long lost pal and former Creation Records artiste Pat Fish (aka The Jazz Butcher), of course we'd have to have Lew… Continue

Thanks for the add Barry,
I've downloaded 'The Disintegrating Man' to play on my weekly Internet Radio Show on www.nessmp3.com if that's ok? It reminds me of the sort of thing produced by the recently deceased Studio 9.
My live show goes out on www.nessmp3.com every thursday from 9 - 10pm with a Radio Chatroom, then is repeated each day at different times to allow people in other countries/timezones to hear it. If you come on the nessmp3 Radio Chat and say hi during my live show, I always try to play a track for you.. either 1 of your's or a request.
Peace,
Maria :)
