Interesting - I can see myself in some of the promoters already, but 99% of the time when I've made those excuses about landlords changing, etc I've been telling the truth

I quite look forward to the 2 or 3 years time when as an artist this info may become useful as well

WOW!! Good article but waaaay too much work. I'm a little embarassed to say but I guess over the years, and with the introduction of computer technology into my life, I've become lazier and lazier when it comes to self-promotion. These days I will sit at the computer, google booking agents and local theatres and send them our on-line promokit. If they get back good. If not, eh! Whatta ya do? Here's the kit!
